Protected choline with slow release effect for high performance dairy cows and beef

COL 24 is a rumen protected source of choline chloride. Choline is an essential material for building and maintaining cell structure and plays a vital role in fat metabolism in the liver by increasing the utilisation of fatty acids. It is also a methyl-group donor too.

COL 24 is produced by the MICROPEARLS® technique, by encapsulating choline chloride with a coating matrix able to resist rumen breakdown and release choline in the intestine. The positive effects of COL 24 have been confirmed by trials with dramatic reduction of liver abscesses and increase of weight gain and feed efficiency in beef, a significant increase in milk production and reproductive efficiency in dairy cows.
